Guide 1: Printing PDF Files Without Trims

  1. Open the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software). Select File → Print.
  2. Under Page Size & Handling, choose Actual Size or 100% (Do NOT select "Fit to Page").
  3. Ensure the correct paper size is selected in Printer Settings (e.g., A4, A5, etc.).
  4. For double-sided printing: Automatic double-sided printers, enable Print on Both Sides.
  5. Manual double-sided: Print odd-numbered pages, flip the paper, and print the even-numbered ones.
  6. For personal or pocket-sized inserts, use your printer’s custom paper size setting, if needed.


    Guide 2: Printing PDF Files With Trims

    1. Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Go to FilePrint.
    2. Under Page Size & Handling, select Actual Size.
    3. Choose the appropriate paper size (e.g., A4, Letter) in Printer Settings.
    4. Print the pages with the trim marks visible.
    5. Use a paper trimmer or scissors to cut along the trim lines.
    6. For double-sided printing: Automatic double-sided printers, enable Print on Both Sides.
    7. Manual double-sided: Print odd-numbered pages, flip the paper, and print the even-numbered ones.


    Additional Tips

    1. Always check your printer settings before printing, especially for paper orientation (portrait or landscape).
    2. Print a test page first to ensure everything aligns properly.
    3. For thicker papers or special sizes, adjust the printer’s paper weight settings to avoid jams.
